"Rudy, I Mean, Maggie!" (quote from our late Mom)

I just want to clarify that my human sister, my beloved Mags, is not a dog (see her comment, previous post) nor do I view her that way. The funny part of all of this is that when my mom was alive, she would constantly call Maggie by the dog's name and vice versa. Never me, just her. So, sorry Mags, you may be my best friend, but you certainly aren't "man's best friend"! Love you sister!!

Marie, we have it on videotape: Troy calling our beloved first child by our dog's name. Yep. So, he'll never live that one down because it's permanently fixed in our video library. My good friend from college had a cat named Roxane. That was always a bit weird. She always got my name right, but I never truly knew if she was talking about and to me, or her cat. :)Anyway, moms (and I guess dads) are notorious for getting names wrong. Trust me, I do it ALL THE TIME. :) My poor kids don't even know their real names, I don't think.

Roxane,
That is hysterical! The Rudy/Maggie scenario has been a long running joke and a fond memory of ours. My dad just got a new pup and someone suggested he named her Maggie. Cute name, but since we already have one of the human variety, we'll have to think of another name.

Have a super week!
