Goodbye, sweet girl.  You were loved, and now you are missed.

Oh no! I'm so, so sorry. I went through that a few years ago and it was so hard. SO HARD. Please know my thoughts are with you. :(

Thanks, Missy. Lots of tears around our house right now. You're right, it is so hard. We're happy that she isn't suffering, but we sure miss her. Even our other Golden, Rudy is depressed. Thank you for your thoughts!

Liz,

You're welcome - I love your blog.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. It's so empty around here without her. I have good moments and bad moments. I'm crying half of the day, and my husband is crying the other half of the day.

And, thank YOU, for commenting. I'm honored! :)

Thanks, Roxane. It's pretty lonely around here.

I hope to see you soon, too!

I know I'm old when I remember the pooch as a pup.... and technically - Sara met Nala before she met Craig (courtesy of us semi-breaking in to Craigs house wondering why he wasn't home....

Brad, I loved hearing this story. Sara was telling me last week. I wish I had known her when you did, but her pictures as a pup show the roly-poly dog that she was. She ate food even ten minutes before she passed.

I have to ask you, though, how did you semi-break into Craig's house? Hilarious! Sara's re-count went something like, "Brad, there's a DOG!" Nala must have jumped on her. :) Thanks for sharing this with us.
